WhY Life WhY?

Yep I should be studying 4 midterms but yeah Im blogging..Hmm Im getting my priorities together..EEk! Im just taking a break right now. Seriously today was my monthly breakdown..yes tears came strolling down my eyes. Sometimes I feel as if the world is against me and I have to prove to everyone my full potential even to myself. Sometimes I just wish I could disappear just for a couple of hours and then regroup and attack life again...Soo I came across one my notebooks that I was scribbling down in a while back when my spirit was feeling both low and curious when I was in the library daydreaming.Yeah extremely random thoughts...so i just asked myself a couple of questions...so dig into it....

Why is it as soon as you stay in God's Will it triggers the devil to attack you?

Why is life set up as fight or flight?

Why do I want to be in love but not go through the process?

Why do I love culture, especially mine soo much?

Why did Talib spit that line to me at the concert?

Did He really spit that line to me or was I trippin?

Why do some songs bring back bad memories?

Why does my past feel tainted?

Why don't people understand personal space?

Why does reggae music instantly puts you in the mindset of a hot sweaty club, grinding with your "mystery man"?

Why do you try to make every man your mystery man?

Why not leave some males as a mystery in your mind? isn't it more fun that way and you don't risk disappointment?

Hmm is keeping a male a mystery just excuse to run away from love?

Why do soulful souls seem at peace at all times?

Why did I just use the word "seem"?

Why did Jill Scott choose Crown Royal to use as a comparison to love making?

Why do I love being by myself?

Why do I feel as if Im my own best company?

Why am I crazy compared to the world's standards?

Why does joy come from sorrow?

Why do I let my soul lead me?

Why do I purposely object to rules society sets just so I can create my own mold?

Why don't people go with there gut? If the Spirit is manifested in us, is or "gut" really our spirit trying to lead us ?

Why do I want to turn around?

Why is there no such thing as second best?

Why are people so easily influenced?

Why don't people want pity but rather have the person feel their pain?

Why do I glance at people I know that are standing right there anyway?

Why are my dreams so close but yet so faraway?

Why am I walking around in my dream at this very moment?

Why when I hit repeat on my i-pod I feel bad because I messed up the flow of the tracks?

Why was it so stressful to get to this point?

Why are eccentric people so happy in their own world?

Why do white people tan?

Why do black females rock weave so hard but get mad when people question if it there's?

Why do you have to assimilate before you know what you need change?

Why do I feel like I'm on my own reality show?

Why when everything is going well I focus more but when trials come I actually perform better even though it seems I'm not as focus?

Why was that confusing?

Why am I officially on my grind?

Why do I feel naps are the answer to all my problems?

Why when you stop caring thats when everything falls in place?

Why am I listening to woman's worth like I can actually can appreciate a males worth?

Why did I just catch the eyes of this cute guy?

Why am I now wondering if he's gay?

Why do I duck from males like they're the plague?

Why does time go by so fast sometimes and other times ridiculously slow?

Why am I so disgusted so easily?

Why is life one big movie?

Why am Im so blessed?

Why did I self diagnose myself with anxiety?

God Bless...

The GooD, The Bad, The Ugly

SOOOOOOOO after having a stressful day of apartment hunting ..I think I found a winner!!!the apartment is on the Northwest side of the city and I absolutely love it! But before I went wondering around the cool Chicago area..I decided to take a 5 minute cat nap..literally 5 minutes! As I was dozing off I turned to RapCity ( which I haven't watched a good minute, just because I don't have time anymore and due too the excessive amount of foolishness displayed on it I decided to take a break! Consequence tore up the beat with his raw flow. He's originally from NY( I heard he's Qtip cousin but Im not sure) and we all know where Kanye reps!! I'm not sure how long this video has been out but check it out its hot....

God Bless!

The ROotS on "RisIng DowN"

object width="425" height="355">

WHEW!!!!!!!!!! That was a refreshing sigh of creative music in the building.. Lord knows what I would do if I didn't have real music with soul in my life...So You know I'm extremely excited for the new album from my guys The Roots called "Rising Down" I am LOVING LOVING LOVING the whole vibe of there new video called Rising Up featuring my soulful sistah Chrisette Michele lookins so fresh with her hiarcut ad her pin-striped blazer. Its also featuring hot lyricist Wale I have to say this single gives off a much lighter vibe than the majority of their tracks on the album
That is why I love The Roots so much the rawness of their music and the versatility of there style."We've Always felt that with every we should reinvent ourselves" is what they recently stated in the May issue of Essesnce magazine. They're new officially drops Next Tuesday on April 29th! On the album they tackle real issues in the community that we deal with on a day to day basis in a creative way. They hit topics as campus killings, Siera Leone and suicide bomb killers. Also in the Essence issue they state "My main concern is making credible music." Thank You Jesus for allowing a few people left in the music industry who stay true to themselves and the people. I'm a firm believer that HipHop is not dead it was just on vaction and I'm starting to see the hip hop jet ready for landing...God Bless!

*MoVie ReViEw*

Since we're already on the topic of Nollywood lets jump into Hollywood...Okay soO Friday me and my buddy David( and no it was far from a real date! )had a mini movie marathon. This is surprising for me because if you know I really only watch predominately Black Love Movie..ohh I can't help it..Go Brown Sugar and Love Jones! We went to the movie theatre off Michigan Ave. and just hit up 2 movies for the price of one! Hmm don'act like that...you do it 2! Okay soo The first movie we hit up that came out Friday was "BabyMama" it starred Tina Fey and Amy Poehler. AS you know the plot was that Amy was a 37 year old single business with a successful career (hmm sounds familiar) but she had an urge to have a baby. She was incapable of having one so she hires a surrogate for help. Its cute and catchy..But these are one of the movies that all the funny parts are displayed on the preview so they're were only a few surprises here and there but its still cute! You should go check it out!

Okay I was a little iffy on David's pick when I first saw the preview. He picked the movie 21. I have 2 say I Loved the movie! This is surprising to people who know me because its the simple fact that I usually shy away from movie that I have to pay thorough attention to ,to follow the plot..I know its sad and lazy! But the movie was Fly! Ok this movie starred Kate Bosworth Kevin Spacey, Jim Sturgress and "Ike" aka Laurence Fishburne. Oka so the story is mainly about a student who attends MIT and hass been admitted to Harvard med School but can't afford it. He is a mathematical genius and his teacher soons begins to take interest in his talents. His professor soons introduce him to the world of Blackjack, The professor has taught a handful of students how its mathematically possible to beat the game if you count cards. They go to Vegas each weekend to rack up...ok Im stopping because I really really encourage you to check this out! Unlike baba Mama in which you knew what was going to happen, I was seriously hitting David to shut up until the final scene went off because I was still trying to find out what happpened! Ok thats my Movie review for the day more posts are coming...Stay Fly God Bless!

WeLcoMe 2 "NOLLYWOOD!"

OOOOOOOOHH Triflin' ..is the word for me, I know Its been more than a week since I've posted anything. I've been writing the longest list of topics I was suppose to write about but just never got to it..EEeeek! Sorry Ill do better, but anyway.........SOo "Welcome to Nollywood." I know you're probably thinking is this a a typo? or does she mean Hollywood..Nope! It's def. Nollywood! Watchout because Nigerian movie are making there claim to fame! Nollywood has now become the third largest film market in the world, after Hollywood and Bollywood. My father always brings Nigerian movies home and always gets after me and my sis that we need to watch them! I finally sat down and watched one and they're pretty good! I'll admit they're not as high budget as Hollywood films but you can still understand and follow the plot. Majority of there moives go straight to the DVD market. Nollywood has managed to bring over 200 million dollars a year according to Essence. You may wonder why you should checkout these movies , well is because they take a different approach in how they present it to the audience."Our style of telling stories is different to their style of telling stories." Mahmoud Alie Balogun. You can check out the movies at Nollywoodmoviesonline.com! Okay more posts are coming! God Bless!!

WaILinG WelSh= DUFFY

"My Music is really difficult to describe. I suppose I'd say it's rough around the edges and soft in the middle. I don't like music being too perfect, I think sonically it has to be a bit interesting. I like things orchestral, I like strings and a really great bass line."...Duffy

So I ran across this video and was intrigued by the ol' school flavor that was belting out this petite welsh wailer. She was born raised in Wales and grew up jammin' to Motown legends as Marvin Gaye secretly. Aimee Duffy began belting out the blues at age 18 years old. You can find her soulful single "Mercy" on her album Rockferry. She reminds me of a toned down Amy Winehouse. I have to admit this single has been on rotation for me all morning. She has a classic English style which was inspired from Jackie O. I love the entire vibe of the music and how raw it is. The instrumentals allow the music to creates a genuine sound for the listener. Check her out at http://www.iamduffy.com/index2.html. ...God Bless Soulful Saints!

LoVe ...Is It A DEciSioN?

Love? Is the word that eased into my mind while sipping my Jamba Juice and lost in Floetry's spoken word, whilw the warm sun beamed in my apartment To me that word seems as a distant word of my future. This four letter word has brought heartache, pain and bitterness but the action of the word has brought hope, encouragement and peace of mind to an individual. A couple of Sundays ago Pastor Bill Winston quickly mentioned to the congregation that people don't fall in love, it's a choice that people choose to make. It kind of blew my mind when he said this so I've been asking close ones around me to hear their views. To my surprise I've heard all disagreements with the statement, they all informed me that they feel as if you have no control of the spiral cycle of love. I have not had the experience yet to be blessed enough to experience the true love that will overtake your life and allow you to be content with just a toothbrush and your love next to you. God has given everyone a choice in every aspect of life. One has a choice to open themselves up to allow the chance of love to slowly seep in. Once you're past a certain point with a person you have no control over your emotions but you do have a choice or stopping yourself before you hit that sacred moment in time before your lips breathes out love. The word itself is overused in every aspect of life. Just from saying I'm IN love with you to soon from saying I love the new handbag you splurged on. Love is a danger zone with hazard lights flashing that many people are afraid to enter. It's disappointing to see what a poor reputation that love has received from people idiotic mistakes as lying, cheating and infidelity. Its a risk that everyone seems to weigh against their personal experiences of life. Either in your past life or the present life God has blessed you with, you will eventually have the choice to fall in love or leave it as a mystery forever....Think About It...God Bless..

FiT wiTh FuZe

Yikes! Soooo I'm going to admit I've been feeling pretty overwhelmed lately and had to revamp "Operation Stay Focus and Be Fly While Doing It!" As the process of keeping my sanity and growth on a steady rise, I made a vow to try something NEW atleast once a week, It can be either as small as trying a new food, trying a new hairstyle, or going to a new audition basically anything! I'm learning by doing this you'll have constant growth and may find a new love in life. Okay so My mind freshness of the week is Fuze Slenderize! During my break of my diet Green Tea and Vitamin Water, I squeezed a chance for a love for a new health drink. Fuze Slenderize is just not a fruit tasting drink it adds a great health boost in your life, The drink only contains 1o calories, 4 slenderizing vitamins and minerals and only 2 carbs. I hit up there website and I was even more impressed with the drink because its a cause behind it. They have a campaign called "My Fight With Fat" which tells about how weight gain can not only cause physical discomfort but also a emotionally. This is sooo true! At work the other day the sweetest middle age lady came in and I was helping her pick out some clothing items . When I went back to help her in the fitting room she had an emotional breakdown. She literally started balling and began to lash out against herself with all types of negativity because of her weight gain from medical treatment. I encouraged her and kept telling her that she has to reiterate positive, uplifting comments to herself instead of ones to bring her spirit down. After our little chit chat she was thankful and was extremely eager to become one of my clients. I just felt touched I could help but I also realized that there is major emotional turmoil with weight gain. Fuze gives motivational tips like focus on inches instead of pounds and giving praise to your body no matter what state it is. The less you tear down your temple with negativity the more you will begin to form the body you always wanted. This will work because if you put positive energy in your body your body will than beam out the positive energy and will work with your mind better! They even state that ones needs to start counting your blessings as you count your calories(which surprised me because most companys have taken God sooo far out of the equation it's quite sad) So I say check out the site and the tastey drink for more tips and the drink!..http://www.drinkfuze.com/ They give a variety of flavors and even tea..which is my next victim! Stay Healthy, Happy and Blesses! God Bless My Beauties!!

CyBeR GIrL FrOm OutErSpacE

"I'M AN ALIEN FROM OUTER SPACE!!! I'M A CYBERGIRL WITHOUT A FACE A HEART OR A MIND!!!!" Doesn' that explain me or what..atleast the alien from outerspace( I can't be from planet earth ..Im to eccentric.....AHHH! Okay since I had my random moment...I LOVE THIS GIRL..Janelle Monae! Okay soo I very first encountered her music with her song Lettin' Go in which my girl Allison put her oh so lovely random mixes!! Lettin' Go was just talking about just kickin' it and being free, even after losing your job(which I can relate to because if you know me you know i don't take any part-time jo serious,,umm yeah I'm working on that). Lettin' Go wa on her album The Audition.I loved the song but I didn't know who she was still. Sooo I noticed her music and style when she first was on the single with Outkast in the "Morris Brown" video. Soo after that I hit up her myspace page and fell in love with her futuristic tracks! I was groovin' hard to her before..but like a year later everyone is jumping on her band wagon! So my girl Sharon text me to look her up again and i instantly knew she was. She i snow receiving alot of public interest especially since Senator Barack Obama wrote a message saying he respects her musical talents. I have also recently seen her on MTVnews snippets with Diddy ..Mr. NoBitchAsnees Himself adoring the young creative artist who he recently signed in Aug 2007. Ms. Monae represents her generation extremely well. She honestly believes in changing the world through her music. She singles out lifechanging topics and focuses on challenging them a futurisric way. You can see her growth from her first single she put out to now. Her newest album Metropolis allows you to enter her world that Janelle has created personally for her open-minded listeners. Her music takes you to a wonerland which embodies the past blue artist as Billie Holliday and Etta James but filters her style to reach past the present. Now her style reminds me of a corky conservative school girl who always has alot to say! Her style is complete for her natural french roll/hump that she is known for. It was very random when I was in Atlanta a couple weeks ago she actually sat a couple of pews in front of me. From what I could see she looked as stunning in real life as she does in real life. Her style represents her and it seems as if it comes natural to her which is vital, no matter what style you choose to rock. Herea are just a couple of pics of her and I will have some of her songs in rotation on my blog soo you can get hip to her 2!!! God Bless Loves!!

TreNdY TuTuS

Okay so recently my bestie Allison who has a hilarious blog which keeps me laughing(Fresh AddicT) recently took this pic of moe in a baby Tutu... Note..(Im mildly Retarded)
I know you're like this is so random, clearly she needs to stop!lol.. But it did remind me of how I'm loving the the dance inspired TuTu dresses from Betsy Johnson! I'm a firm believer that fashion is just inspired by your everyday life and your passions. When people try to label my style ..they can't which I love ! People often use the term ecletic which basically is saying "umm we don't know how the hell to label you. you're in your own little made up world!"..Haha which is fine, because I DESPISE being labeled because I represent too many diffrent aspects of life to be put into a box. But here and there I get you're style seems inspired from dance. People usually point out that I look like a dancer .between my off the shoulder baggy shirts, my different color leggings, my ballet flats, my knit leg warmers my natural pinned bun or even my man thighs..EEk! I don't mind when people catch that aspect of my life because I love dance and it will always be apart of me and my lifestyle.

Okay but enough of muah..back to the hot dresses.. I say all of that to say it only makes since that I adore these dresses!! I need an event quickly to rock one of these dresses!! Forget it ..I will rock one of these hot items with some chucks to a Chi-Town party and make it work! I love the on Rihanna is rockin' there is also a pink one which I ADORE but couldn't find a pic ..but I love these too..Ahhh I LOVE it!

God Bless My Loves!!

LUPE!LUPE!LUPE!

SoOo yes, I've been slackin' Big Time on the updates EEEk!!! Okay so Im going to do a couple postings at once since Im slackin'...SOOOO Okay for my first ..I have been waiting for this video!Paris, Tokyo by Lupe Fiasco music video. Its a different look for mr. Fiasco who is all suited and booted..the only critique I have in this video is the main girl...Hmmm that def. needs to be me.But I'm going to let that go! Lupe is looking to scrumptious in this video! No but really everyone you have to give Lupe mad respect in an industry where everything is being copied and spit back to the consumer as being different, Lupe is originally. Lupe is ridiculously lyrically inclined and he hasn't changed to try to conform and fit in the bullIsh thattales plac in the rap game. He is one of the reasons why Hip Hop is aon a venilator still breathing and not dea yet. I know people call me crazy but I honestly am going meet him soon...I have a gut feeling! Sooo when I do I will give you the exclusive of course! God Bless Loves!

Crash Course on CRS

SOOOO FLy People since I just stopped ranting about all the mini Kanye's running around..lets talk about the oh so original real Kanye West. So I was kind of late on this but a couple of months ago my homeboy Ben told me about the Group that Lupe Fiasco(MY HUSBAND)!, Kanye West and Pharrell created. Its called CRS which stands fro Child Rebel Soldier!.PAUSE...Now really think about who I just named the top lyricists of our time! Ok they're first single they put out was 'US PLaCerS" which I posted below! Check it out its hot, it features the young versions of the rapper while Thom Yorke is on the chorus. The group is all going on the "Glow in the Dark Tour"( which Im not leaving until I meet all of them!) Okay So just check it out..if you like real music..you'll love this group...God Bless!

KaNye WesT SYnDroMe

LET ME START OF BY SAYING IM NOT BASHING KANYE WEST!!Okay so I went out last night, and I don't know exactly what urked me about it but I need 2 vent. Soooo let me start off by saying I LOVE KANYE WEST dearly! I respect him for his motivation and spittin' the truth while also staying mainstream. Hell, I was overly hype when I got his concert tickets for May 23rd in The Chi! Everybody knows that West has a killa swag, style and all the achievements to back him up! Okay that brings me to my next point,. Let me also state that I adore my Black Males..PAUSE..let me take that back...I adore educated, motivated, moral based, faithful and loving Black males. Clearly that what left Hmm maybe 3 in the Universe..I haven't given up hope yet.Okay Im trying not to sound like a mad black woman...Thats a whole different post! But anyways I have noticed that living in the Chi every black male thinks he's mini Kanye!!Like really when I say jock his style ..I mean you will see Kanye posted on Concreteloop Monday and a replica fit on Tuesday..Tat Tat on That!!Umm okay thats fine if you don't have any style of your own and you feel the need to stealstyle fine....BUT we Def. don't Steal the same type of attitude if we cannot baack it up! Oh wow I don't get it..Someone break it down for me...Question * Why does rapper lil Rasheed on the street corner has the same attitude as someone like K.West or Diddy? I understand the concept of if you don't believe in yourself than no one else will but lets not take it to the extreme! Its like these males have blocked off the world of any advice that people can give and has pride outside the world. They lack to realize that all these artists they look up to came from humble beginnings. They all had to pay dues and are still humble human beings in real life when they're not followed by a camera. For example many people have encountered K. West in the Chi and I have only heard positive things come from their interaction with him...Soooo NEWSFLASH 2 Black males....HUMBLE YOURSELF ....GOD BLESS!!

Madea'S MessaGe

Okay So I woke up early this morning and doing some odds and end stuff before I tackle my day. While I was randomly on the internet I went to youtube to look back at all of my favorite videos. So as I was going through I spotted this video and remembered why I put this in my favorite vids! Okay I truly rembered what my mind was going through when I added this! I would watch this all the time with my girl Don's dorm just to hear this snippet of advice. I know I was truly emotionally drained in numerous aspects of life. I felt as if mentally and emotionally I had connected with a right person and it ended up just to backfire in my face. I fought to put my trust and joy in other people who weren't truly "The Roots" Of the tree. Now I have learned to take all that unecessary energy and focus it in myself. It must be working because my friends always make fun of me because they say I'm always on a new "self-Help" Program:) Which is oh so true!So I just want to give A shoutout to all my roots of my tree right now...My Sis and My Besties! I love you guys for the support! Hope this inspires you! It's all A Lesson Learned ! Oh and you get a mini concert from Madea at the end of her advice! Lol!God Bless!!

Carol's Care

SOOOO everyone knows my new found love....my hair! Okay so if you know me, you know I hate doing my hair because I have no patience! So like I told you before my major issue is MOISTURE! I seriously have the tightest coils and the my hair dries out oh so quick. So basically I need control and moisture products. I say all this to tell you about my product quest! Okay I was elated to find that they sold Carol's Daughter products downstairs from where I worked! I first heard of Carol's Daughter when my sis was obsessed on getting her hands on the products. I stole a couple of dabs of her Alomond Cookie Body Butter(which she was probably tad bit irate since it was a gift to her and she only uses it for special occassions..EEk!) It smelled wonderful and loved the instant softness it gave to my skin! But anyways I loved the smell and begin to see the products featured in magazines as Essence & Ebony. I didn't know they made haircare products I thought it was only skin and body care! But when my one of my bestie's suggested that I try out there products for my natural hair. I got a little to hype and spat back "Yeah thats a good idea, plus I get a discount on the products, whew!" I went in the area the first time and I loved it, I just would like to stop and pause on the entire enviroment of the area. Just take a glance and all you see are neutral tone colors(my fav brown!) Which instantly calms you and takes you away from everyday stress. And of course they had Ms. Jill Scott in the air waves belting out "Golden". So I asked the beautiful natural sistah to help me pick out the correct products. Of course she looked at my hair and was like " You have a beautiful curl and great thickness but you def. need moisture!" I was great, I know can u help a sistah out!l So she sold me the Hair Milk and told me if its not working come back and get the Hair balm and just use it as a daily moisture. Soo of course I used the Hair milk for a couple days and then ran back to add the balm since my hair ws sponging up the milk fast. I started using the combo of the Hair Balm and The Hair Milk today and I'm alreadt begin to see changes. It has loosened up my curl and gave it more moisture. I can't say I'm in love with it off the back but the more I use it hopefully I will fall in love with it! I do want to try there shampoo! soo right now I'm on a Carol's daughter Spree. I heard it also works well on relaxed hair so its just not for the natural girls...Everyone's included! So I'll keep you posted on the progress of my kinky curls .. Hit up http://www.carolsdaughter.com/...God Bless!!

Moment Of Clarity

Okay Im trying to do better to have atleast one inspirational message once a week( if not more Jesus knows we need them!) Soo I went to church this morning and heard a beuatiful sermonat Living Word Christian Center with Pastor Bill Winston. If you're ever in the Chicago area you must stop in on Sunday, he has such a powerful sermon that continues to bless each heart it falls upon. So after leaving the service walking in the beautiful 65 degree weather I had an enlightening moment. My mind, soul and heart finally had time to just to breathe and live in the moment. I realized ever since I moved to Chicago I've been so determined to try exceed my goals and prove my enemies wrong that I lost focus of my day to day blessings. These past couple months have been an upward journey for me mentally, emotionally and spirtually. God has put me through so many trials at once, I'm just now understanding the lessons that I'm suppose to be getting out of the situation. Life gives you a clean slate each day that God opens your eyes. One lesson that I've learned since I've been up here is to truly enjoy the process of your growth. Don't rush your life so much that you miss out on your blessings and your self growth. Many of us want to jump from point A all the way to Z and we miss everything in between. Each time God gives you a blessing Thank Him. You should be joyful in every situation God places you in. I'm not saying you should not continue to better yourself but be thankful for the growth that you have already conquered. Live in the moment. Appreciate each place, event and tasks that God has planned for you. If you do this you will feel as if you lived to the fullest and not just going through the moments just to say you did it. Thats just my little tip for the week. Allow God's Light to shine throught you! God Bless!!

StIrR- Up A Statement

Sooo I'm chillin' in this Saturday jammin' to Ms. Lauryn Hill while munching on my chef salad( look at me being all heatlthy;)...This was the longest day ever but beautiful weather, I guess its not to bad because I can update n different posts which I've been slacking on. So I'm 1 out of the 15 people in the world thats excited that stirr-ups are making a come back!! I love them with both flats and heels. They give an edgier look if you wear the stirr-ups than regular leggings. They also elongate your legs so they look slimmer! And if you know me, clearly I love them because it helps out my man thighs! Gross! but any who Im not saying pull out the ones that you begged your mom for when you hit middle school but grab the updated pair! It has a thicker strap underneath the foot, which is also more comfortable because its not pullingthe arch of your foot so much! Hmm but I say Nay to the Stirrup Pants!! I tried a pair on and umm it clearly screamed my my mom blindly yanked these off of the rack because they're on sale when I was twelve! They looked like a female version of Hammer pants...They made me look hippy!Maybe they would work out for others just not me..You can cop the stirr- up leggings at American Apparel and Express... Here's a pic of how I rocked my stirr-ups before going out last night..

Hope You Like! God Bless!

MuSiC MayHem

Okay Fly People, I came across this video and I can't get this song out of my head. It's by Will.i.am feat. Cheryl Cole called "Heartbreaker." Its a hot funky track you can just vibe to in your car while you attempt to recreate the scene of a dance club in NYC all while behind the wheel. This would be something I would have in rotation of my I-pod that would break between me wondering of my past with the song "My Love" by Jill Scott to me joining in on being a "Bad Girl" with Danity Kane. Hmm soo I heard this song, and was like "damn, did every male I've ever talked to in the past have a collabo to write these lyrics?!" Heartbreaker def. fits each one!...But anyway Will.i.am usually has simple lyrics in which every one can relate to and drops a catchy beat to grab the track's appeal. Okay my only issue with Will.i.am is can we ever get a sistah to sing the chorus of the songs?? Okay Fergie and Cheryl were straight but can someone of color get some love? Oh i did peep the one natural girl in the video...Thanx Will. No but I can't come dwon on Will.i.am too much because he has been releasing the Support Obama videos featuring top celebs who also support Obama 08!! So Get iT! ! I have to do some running around 2day but I'll try to update more frequently hopefully tonight!!EEk!God Bless!

So as many of my close friends know, I'm officially on a Vintage High right now. One reason because is since I'm a student it allows me to be Fresh for a discount price. Another reason is that fashion is one huge cycle and the past loves to pop up with new twists to entice the consumer. Soooo my first which will never go out of style are vintage glasses! I wear them during the day for wind blockers for the ridiculous wind during the winter and of courese in the summertime! Nowadays sunsglasses are all year round accessories ! I love the Fly eyewear of the past! It truly gives you a funky edge by just tossing them on! It instantly glams up your entire look in less than 2 seconds! I put a couple of pics of fly views I would rock and of coures I had to put a pic ofe me sporting my vintage specs! Yes even in the winter! Okay I will be back to post more later on after I get out of class..God Bless!
